n8n automation, built to run in production

Self-hosted workflow automation, built to last

n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform that can be self-hosted, which removes per-task pricing and keeps data on your own infrastructure. It suits teams who have outgrown per-operation billing on hosted tools, or who need automation to run somewhere their data policy allows.

The usual path is a hosted automation tool that works well until volume makes the per-task pricing uncomfortable, or until someone asks where the data is going.

Self-hosted n8n removes both problems. The trade-off is that you now own the reliability, which is fine if it was built for production, and a problem if it was built in the browser and never revisited.

We build n8n workflows the way you would build any production system: version controlled, with error handling, monitoring, and somewhere obvious to look when something fails.

The situations this comes up in

Per-task pricing scales badly

Automation that made sense at a thousand operations a month stops making sense at fifty thousand.

The workflow exists only in the browser

No version control, no review, and no way to tell what changed when it stops working.

Failures are invisible

A workflow that silently stops is worse than no workflow, because everyone assumes it is still running.

What you get

  • Self-hosted n8n set up on infrastructure you control
  • Workflows in version control, with a real deployment path
  • Error handling, retries and alerting on failure
  • Migration from Zapier or Make where that is the starting point
  • Handover documentation so your team can extend it

Who this is for

  • Teams whose hosted automation bill has outgrown its value
  • Companies with data residency or policy constraints
  • Businesses running critical processes on workflows nobody can version or review

Common questions

Cloud is simpler and right for most teams starting out. Self-hosting is worth it when task volume makes usage pricing expensive, when data cannot leave your infrastructure, or when you need workflows in version control alongside the rest of your systems.

Yes. Migration is usually a good moment to rebuild rather than translate, most workflows that grew organically in a hosted tool carry accumulated workarounds that are cheaper to redesign than to port.

Your choice. We hand over documented, version-controlled workflows so your team can, or we keep it under a support arrangement. The handover is real either way, nothing is left in a state only we can read.
