We only collect personal information in two situations: when you send us an enquiry, and, if you agree to it, when you browse the site with analytics enabled.

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you type into it:

The form includes two automated checks that briefly process technical data: a hidden field that only automated bots fill in, and a measurement of how long the page was open before submission. Genuine submissions pass both. This data is used solely to reject automated spam and is not stored against your record or used for any other purpose.

Form submissions are sent to our own customer system at ilgoldberg.online, which we operate ourselves. We do not use a third-party form service, so no external provider receives your enquiry.

Submitting the form creates a record in our system and sends an email notification to us so we can reply.

We use the information you send to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship. We do not use it for anything else.

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to clients are kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards, which is the period we are required to retain business and tax records for.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@ilgoldberg.com, and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, and how people arrive. IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics is loaded only after you accept; if you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics runs and no analytics cookies are set.

Google acts as a processor for this data and may transfer it to the United States. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets the banner.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, social media trackers or session recording on this site.

Fonts are served from our own server rather than from a font provider, so browsing the site does not share your IP address with a third party.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah and several other states have these rights under state law.

To exercise any of them, email info@ilgoldberg.com. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address we hold and will respond within 45 days. There is no charge.

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our own system, and access to that system is restricted to the people who need it.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
